June 11, 2023 [‘Yung ikalawang araw ng Independence Day long weekend]
So I woke up early in the morning to prepare for church. Truth: Tinatamad talaga ako pumunta sa church ngayon pero kinailangan kong pumunta kasi we are practicing a song for the father’s day next week. And honestly, the practice motivated me to go more than the church service.
So the practice is a skit and a cover of You’ll Be in My Heart by Phil Collins. I will be playing the lead. Bale it’s like the song is being sung by Jesus, trying to comfort a grieving girl. I am quite nervous pero I am really honored that they have chosen me to do the lead part. I hope mabigyan ko ng justice.
After church, my dad, tita Cynthia and I ate at an Indian Restaurant. This is my first time eating curry vindaloo. Naririnig ko lang ang vindaloo dish sa mga bollywood films na pinapanood ko. Napakasarap pala.
I spent the rest of the day inside the house. Maulan pa rin kasi at nakakatamad maglakad papuntang gym. But I have plenty of plans for the Independence Day tomorrow.
I am planning to:
- Sleep early and wake up at 5am again.
- Create a new morning routine and focus on journalling and meditation.
